| If tou mean directly from a cd, in windows you cant. You need to rip the song to your hdd first. Then you can open the browser, go to the files tab in browser, find the file, then click and drag it to an empty are in the arrange view. It will create a new track automatically. | I recommend a free program called AudioGrabber for Windows. I it lets you extract (rip) songs in high quality from CD to your hard drive. The key is to rip them as .wav files so they will be of highest quality. Then you can used the browser in Studio One to find, select and drag the song into a new track. Just drop it at an empty spot and a new track will be created for it. Make sure to position it at the start of the time line. |
