Plughugger has just released a new expansion sound pack for Spectrasonics’ massive VST Instrument Omnisphere 2. The collection of sounds is called “Deep Ocean” and features dark pianos, quirky arps and mellow synths.
Omnisphere 2’s factory sample does not have any brass patches or samples – so these will be useful to many different genres of music. This library includes 110 patches: 11 – BPM Patches (Bass / Guitar / Lead/ SFX and Synth).
The main focus of the pack is atmospheric textures and soundscapes that are popular in today’s styles of music. The sounds are described as spanning dark/menacing to mysterious and even uplifting.
